After reading about the sign of Virgo and its energies I have decided to try to adapt some of its traits to my life as I am in need of them. One of the issues I have is with money and I think many of us these days has issues with money. My problem is that I don't have a realistic perspective when it comes possession both material and immaterial I just don't have any respect or ownership. I mean I know I have car, a home, a tv but really i don't take care of them I just use them and let them go. I also run through my money like there is a never ending factory of money and it is so easy to do these days because of credit cards
I never realized how much money plays a part in my life for getting what I want immediately. We live in a world of pleasure and immediate gratification. Many times on my days off I go out and eat and spend about nine dollars and I realized that eating at home the cost comes down to about 70 cents. So for what I spend eating out one time I can eat over ten times.
So as I drove around today I wanted to go to Cici's pizza, Golden Coral, McDonalds, Sizzler and a few other places but I said no and went to the grocerty store and bought some steak and came home and now I have food for the next few days and this was at the cost of eating out once.
I have also decided to put myself on an allowance of five dollars a week. I'm not couting money i spend on groceires and gas but my five dollars is my free money. So if I want to eat out I havve to wait for two weeks.
I was also ready to a camera bag this morning as I figured I could just put it on the credit card but I didn't. If I want that bag then i have to wait six weeks as the bag costs theirty dollars. I need to learn the value and costs of what I am spending. There are other things that I waste like my time and not using thing that i have. I am working on this as I am learning to treat my possessions as if they belonged to somebody else and this is a safe guard for me as since I don't have the permission to spend things that don't belong to me then I am better off not having these thng that I want but don't really need.
Virgo is also the sign about paying attention to the detail and that is something that I am dong more and more lately as many times I have my head in the clouds and pay my bills late and get charged a late fee. This is something I have to keep track of.
Virgo is also into health I neglect mine but I am also getting into working out and stretching.

Virgo...the Magic of fairies and angels
Let’s face it. Nothing is good enough for Virgo. Fussy, fussy. Picky, picky. No one knows like a Virgo how hard it is to carve out a little piece of perfection in this world where everyone does things wrong. No wonder that Virgos fret and worry. And if Virgo is in conflict with other energies, amp up the fretting to obsessing. Amp up the worry to anxiety. Thank goodness Virgos (August 22 – September -22) have wings.
As Virgo matures, her wings lift her. She realizes that her job is to bring a piece of Heaven onto Earth and how hard—nearly impossible, she finds, –it is. She learns to compartmentalize and analyze and she learns to discriminate instead of criticize. She infuses her good judgment with compassion which she learns from her opposite sign, Pisces.

Virgo: Get Organized and Mobilized
Your biggest talents are masterminding organizations that would overwhelm anyone else and concentrating no matter what distractions come your way. Interpreting Pluto
Pluto is like an atomic bomb. There is great destruction with Pluto, and great pain. But after its devastation comes a chance for a new life purified from the past. Pluto brings us to True Power, which is only born out of integrity, honesty, and complete surrender to the One Will. From this place of deep peace and wholeness, we are one with Power itself. Pluto's job is to strip away from us all that is false and unreal. All lust, greed, seeking, desire, and need is purified in its fire, until we come to the non-dualistic realization that, in every moment, what is most important is not absent. Only from this place where we have no desire for any kind of gain or increase (which would affirm that we are in lack), can the Universe trust us with its Power. Pluto's not pretty, but then it really doesn't care what you think. Pluto sees the real you, which has nothing to do with the desires of your separate-self sense, and so it often puts you through great pain, lovingly, because it is trying to peel off from you the illusory covering of the ego. Pluto slowly brings one to the realization that nothing Real can ever be threatened.

They are the things we do unconsciously, or consciously without understanding the implications of what we're doing, or are doing something we don't need to be doing, and probably shouldn't be doing. It can involve working against your own best interests, self-betrayal, hypocrisy, or not listening to your conscience or your inner voice.
It can range from hesitancy when boldness is needed to rash behavior putting things at risk needlessly. It can be moodiness when you should be celebrating, or reverting to old behaviors that cannot possibly have a favorable outcome at present. It may be trying to achieve something using the wrong tools and not realizing it until after the fact, or trusting something or someone that should not have been trusted to begin with. It could be treating something cheaply that should be held as precious, or the verbal slip that destroys social bonds that didn't need to be broken, or thoughtless ways of dealing with something or someone important to us.
Usually, self-undoing behaviors are associated with regrets. They are a good signal that a 12th house activity is happening in your life. And to be fair, just as there are regrets for things we didn't do right, it is also natural for there to be regrets at the end of every cycle, for all the potential that could have been but for whatever reasons never came to fruition. These types of regrets are very human, and shouldn't be taken as an inner signal to give yourself a hard time or start thinking you did something wrong.
It's all just reminding us to stay alert for appropriate endings as we move through the NOW, and be mindful so that we don't do what we shouldn't, or neglect to do what is in our best and highest interests. Since all we see, know, and live are vibrations, once we realize life is eternal flux we can move with the changes instead of resisting them or clinging to obsolete ways of doing our Being.

VIRGO in twelfth house

In the spotlight
In this day and age everyone seems to have a camera. The next step on people's minds is usually how can I make some money off of it. Cameras are cheap and used cameras are cheaper than a bargain.
I did some time in the fashion world photographing models for an agency going to fashion shows and all that stuff. It was really short as there really isn't an industry here in Orlando, Florida. Not a real one anyway, just a lot of people with a lot of time and ambition but this is not New York, Paris, and London. It never will be. Even Miami is not these other great fashion cities.
That being said, the fashion industry is just like every other creative industry that promises fame and fortune, the music industry, the movie industry, the writing industry, and the television industry. All these industries are filled with millions of people who all want to do it, be in it, and want to live it but very few actually have the talent and because of the way things are those few talented people are usually never seen or heard.
Back to photography...these days everyone want to have a photography business. I was no different. Sure I do some free lance work sometimes but nothing steady and surely nothing that is going to pay my bills and put food on the table. No all I have is hobby something to have fun with. It doesn't need to be anything else. I think we all want to be in the spotlight these days after spending all our lives watching tv and going to movies its ingrained in our culture we all want to be starts but there is only so many vacancies. Is Justin Beiber really the next Bruce Springstien. Is his work going to set the world on fire. No but he will make much dinero for him, his family, and all the corporations who use to sell sell sell. When his music career dries up he will hit the big screen if he isn't headed there already.

The reason and a big part of the fact that people believe this is that they were taught ever since we were young that that is the cycle of life. You work hard to earn money to buy things. You keep on repeating this until you are dead. We were all taught through TV and the people around us that this is the way of life and the only way that you should exist. But the problem is that all of what we have been taught is a complete lie. We can't find happiness by buying things and that is a fact. We must understand this and never fail to realise that true happiness is found by connecting with those people that we love and by having experiences that we will cherish.
What really makes us happy is doing things that will stick with us. That means that we should really focus on trying to have new experiences and connect with the people that we love as best as we can. We should focus all of our energies on the things that really make us happy and not waste our energy on buying stuff that does not matter.

The reason and a big part of the fact that people believe this is that they were taught ever since we were young that that is the cycle of life. You work hard to earn money to buy things. You keep on repeating this until you are dead. We were all taught through TV and the people around us that this is the way of life and the only way that you should exist. But the problem is that all of what we have been taught is a complete lie. We can't find happiness by buying things and that is a fact. We must understand this and never fail to realise that true happiness is found by connecting with those people that we love and by having experiences that we will cherish.
What really makes us happy is doing things that will stick with us. That means that we should really focus on trying to have new experiences and connect with the people that we love as best as we can. We should focus all of our energies on the things that really make us happy and not waste our energy on buying stuff that does not matter.

To thy self be true
Got to reading about each owns personal journey. We all got a true self with a purpose but heck how many of us even know it. I realize that after spending 40+ hours at a mind numbing job, most days I don't even know my name let alone who the heck this stranger is, my true self.
Seems we all got a purpose here. Some here to love, some to build, some to destroy, and some here to shop. Everyone got a purpose but in order to survive in life sometimes we wind up doing things that is miles away from who we really are. We may wake up one day and feel lost...got yourself a map???
Now that winters coming and there seems to be a lot of time for sitting around when its cold it might be the right time to wonder if your driving on the right side of the road so to speak. Maybe you need to be on a train heading to Peoria than a car going to Austin...who knows.
As for me I think it will come to me it always does. I just have to sit back and let it happen.

Back 2 Good
Got that song in my head and it got me feeling like I'm right back where I started. Don't know what matchbox 20 meant for the song to be but for me its about getting back to the begining ofthings. that is where I feel I am at today.
For its been a long learning experience with this photo stuff. In the beginning you don't know nothing so you think everyone that knows something is right even if all they know is a litle bit or just some shit that someone who don't know shit told them but you don't know anybetter and all you can do is nod and take it as gospel.
Two and half years later I'm not new to this anymore and I know a bit more than I did and you realize that nothing is ever as good as it was in the beginning. It all seems great in the beginning, a new job, a new love, a new hobby, a new career, gosh there is nothing but excitement dripping down from you forehead when its new. You got that love for it, you feel it in your bones and you got the fire in your heart. Gosh its good in the beginning ain't it. Its fun too cause you get to try it all for the first time like a first kiss and getting to second base...
Eventually it can get bogged down as you crawl your way through the tunnel you don't remember where you begin, where you going, or even why you started in the first place...but if your lucky and you stop after a while you justmight wake up where you first started only this time you know something and if you let yourself enjoy it your realize you gone back 2 good.
I met this fella not to long ago who taught me that I sure don't know how to appreciate what I got and what's going. We was working at this beauty pageant and the fella got a chance to take pictures with all the beauty queens. It was a chance of lifetime. From that point on I told myself that work might be work but sometimes you have know where you and appreciate and take advantage of the moment for while and get you picture made with a beautiful girl.
Maybe that's all life is about anyway.

Finally got to it's...
I alwasy got a bunch of irons in the fire or pies in the oven which ever you like and wanna use...and it sure don't give me much time to get to any of them let alone finish them.
I have been wanting to back up all my photo from my hard drive onto DVD and i kept reading website after website about backingit all up cause if the hard drive goes then its all gone. All those pictures, memories, experiences all down the tubes.
So I finally got to it. It took 28 DVD's to copy them all. It was a tedious task but like I said I finally got to it.
I look around the house and see all these things that needed to be gotten to and start doing them...I need to walk on the treadmill for twenty minutes check, I need to wash my dishes that have been in the sink for a few days, check, I need to clean the litter box, wash my clothes, put away my jacket and dress clothes that have been sitting around for over a month just waiting to be hung. Man I let it all slip by. i just gots too much to do don't you see.
Sometimes a person can get way ahead of themselves with doing this and that before its time. Like I tell you I got mold in my bedroom and I've been living in my living room for over a few months now and it was goin to cost me 1300 dollars to get all the drywall replaced and I knew I can't afford. So the other day the lady who runs the place tells me the insurance is going to pay for it. Geesh. I guess sometimes you just got to wait for things to get done as there is alwasy a time for them to be done and if you try to do it before its time you just going to wind up eating a raw pie.
So I'm a learning to wait till things really need me like when the smell of litter box finally gets so you'd rather sniff your armpit, or when they ain't any dishes paper towels left to eat on and the there aint no room on the counter to even lay down a butter knife. Yeah that is when its time, the right time. Cause you know sooner or later, and most times later than sooner, it all gets done one way or another.

The year is quickly coming to and and starting from october 31 on to new years there is just one celebrating after another. The fall season has Halloween and Food and Wine Festivals and Octoberfests which slowly lead into Thanksgiving and then Xmas and the loudest day of them all New Years. Everywhere its busy busy and noisy noisy to the point where a person can't think straight, that person is me.
So after finally dragging my old laptop from out of the garbage can I attempted to fix it one more time and bingo it is alive again like the phoenix running win98...an oldie but goodie.
I'm here in my house alone, the radio is off, the internet is off, the television is off. Its like the night before Xmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Well I'm enjoying the stillness and silence as for the last month i've been crowded by thousands of poeple at work that I really need to just be in solitary confinement for a while.
It feels good to be able to hear my thoughts again.

Surrender to the Scorpio Moon
Image by abakedcreation via FlickrHaving been on a learning astrological jouney this year as each month now I have tried to learn the energy of the sign the sun has been in. Currently we are in Scorpio which deals with the big stuff in our lives like taxes, death, sex, rebirth, and transformation.
It seems Scorpio is a very passionate sign but the biggest message I am getting after reading so many blogs about Scorpio is learning to go with the flow.
Scorpio is a water sign and like his elemental compatriots (Cancer & Pisces) the key is ‘flow”. Stagnant water creates nothing but problems . Look to nature and you will see larvae and murk in sluggish ponds. Interestingly, of the three water signs, Scorpio more than the other two knows in his soul that whenever he gives up control and lets go—he is rewarded.
Now I have been actually conteplating this these last few days of simply just surrendering and letting go as there as been very little activity in my life. I have spent the last two weeks simply devouring old episodes of Law and Order SVU which is a fantastic show right up there with CSI.
Having feeling a little guilty for not pushing myself to do something I now know that this is what i'm suppose to be doing. Just hang loose and stop all this getting somewhere stuff and just let life happen the way it's suppoe to happen.
Like the other day I was walking out of work and I ran into someone who I usually don't have an encounter with. Life has many opportunities like this if we just let them happen and go with the flow. Actually it is an interesting story. I was walking out of work and there is guy I hate talking to because he is always bitching about something. So I sat down and waited about a minute to let him walk ahead of me. If I had not done this I would not have run into the other person.
There have been many instances like this when I simply let go of trying to do something or get somewhere that life opens up and steers me into the right direction like fixing my computer the other day. I was all set on buying a new laptop but there was just something that would not let me hit the buy button on overstock. I pulled out my old laptop and reloaded windows and now its working good as new. Just saved myself some money and kept me from buying something that I didn't need.
But patience is hard sometimes as there can be a lot of waiting for things to happen as Top Petty said the waiting is the hardest part.
